Haha, I don't know about your reasoning that the money would go to her kids and grandkids lol. Anyway, I'd say your best bet would be to try and find a secondhand copy of her novels. You can do this by either looking online on places such as Amazon or Ebay (secondhand copies are much cheaper, obviously, and you can get some in really good condition). Amazon is a good option mainly if you're in the US, as the shipping to other countries can be really expensive and thus cancels out any discount you may have got. Ebay is good because people sell lots of stuff really cheap so you're more likely to find a bargain. Otherwise, Abebooks.com is also really good for new and used books and their shipping isn't too expensive. You should also check out any local secondhand bookshops and cheap shops (I think they're called thrift stores in the US?) - where people donate the stuff they no longer want.

You can get some really cheap books in both kinds of stores, the difficulty will be in finding the ones you're looking for! Maybe you could call some of the cheap stores and ask them if they have the books you're looking for so that you don't waste time looking around.

Anyway, great taste in books you have and I would suggest looking for a cheap secondhand copy as it will only cost you a couple of dollars and books are much better to read than computer screens anyway! Second, before you make such a comment you should check your facts so you will at least look like you know what you are talking about. Virginia Andrews was never married; therefore, never had any children; therefore, has no grandchildren. Virginia Andrews wrote just a few of her books and a ghost writer has been writing the other ones since her death in 1986. No matter what the writing situation is or who the money is going to or not, it is still deserved money. If you live in the USA we have something called the Public Library and I feel just about every little town in America has one.

I understand financial crunches and the lack of ability to purchase some books.that is why I, myself, choose the Library. Even in the small town that I live in, I am able to find all of Ms. Andrews series. Sorry this might seem harsh but what you said was deserving of such a reaction. I love V.C Andrews and I have all her series (every, single, last one). Since I simply adore her writing I hate the way you just said she's dead as if you have no respect whatsoever for her. She wrote books not only for herself but so that when she died her kids and grand kids would have something to live off.

Disrespecting them is like disrespecting her too they didn't write the books so what if your mom was a writer and a damn good one too you'd want people to buy her books and not make excuses about her being dead. Anyways now that I've gotten over my annoyance I'll tell you that there's no site that carries her work in PDF format or anything like that.

I suggest you at least make an effort to buy her books. They cost around $13-$15 and I'm sure you can find that somewhere. You'll probably give my answer a low rating of spam me but I don't care. I love V.C Andrews and I would never want anyone to read her work free.
